Online Duties: EVR

Make an Electronic Valuation Request (EVR) if you are required to submit a valuation but do not have one from an independent valuer.

You can submit an acceptable licensed valuation, or assist them to complete an Electronic Valuation Request (EVR) that is transferred to the Landgate Valuation Services Branch to be valued (at no cost).

When the EVR is returned from Landgate, users will be notified via the ROL messaging system that self assessment can proceed.

Use a Duties Valuation Form for valuation of:

An EVR is only available for:

  • transactions involving related parties or
  • subsale transactions where a period of more than three months has elapsed between the date of execution of the agreement to transfer and the transfer of land.

Step 1

On the Duties Request screen, if your transaction requires a licensed valuation and you do not have one, click No next to the question ‘Has a licensed valuation been provided?’

Step 2

Choose the relevant EVR Type from the drop-down menu.

Click Choose File/Browse to upload any supporting documentation you have.

Complete the details of the property in the boxes provided. The details required will vary depending on the type of EVR selected. It is important that you provide as much detail as possible to assist with the valuation request.

Step 3

Once all details have been entered click Next to proceed. This will take you to the confirmation screen.  Click confirm to proceed.

 

Note about uploading attachments

There is a file size limit of 10MB per attachment.  If you need to upload files larger than this, you can either lodge your transaction and add the additional documents via the Add Information function, or separate the attachment into several smaller documents.
