My dashboard explained

An overview of the WARAM My dashboard.

After you sign into the WARAM the "My dashboard / Welcome" page will be displayed.

The "My Dashboard” / "Welcome” page is made up of sections:

  • Have you received an email titled "WA Relationship Authorisation Manager: Invitation"?"

This means someone has invited you to act on behalf of a business or another person. However, you will not be authorised to do so until you accept the invitation. For privacy and security reasons, the details of the invitation are not included in the email.

To review the details of the invitation, choose "Accept or decline an invitation” and enter the invitation code. From there you can determine whether or not you wish to accept or decline the invitation.

  • What are "Pending requests”?

Pending requests lists any requests for authorisation to act on behalf of a business for those businesses which you administer.

Requests are submitted by representatives.  As an administrator for the business, you can either approve or decline those requests.

Pending requests expire after 30 days.

  • What are "My authorisations”?

My authorisations is a list of all businesses and people you are authorised to act on behalf of. Examples can include your employer, if you are an agent for someone else if you are assisting a family member or volunteering for an organisation etc.

This area shows what you can do.

My authorisations also lists any pending (outstanding) requests you have submitted to be able to act on behalf of a business. A request is not an authorisation until it is approved by either the existing administrator or by an agency staff member. We recommend you contact the administrator in order to arrange approval of your request. Please be aware, if you contact the agency you will be asked to prove the nature of your relationship with the business and, if unable to do so, for security reasons your request will be declined.

  • What does "My representatives” do?"

My representatives allows you to manage those persons who can act on your behalf in your private life. You can send, resend or withdraw an invitation to another person, view who is currently authorised to act on your behalf and either remove or extend those authorisations as you require. Examples include family members or friends who are assisting you, agents who do not have a business of their own, etc.

This area shows people who can act for you as part of your private life.

This function is not a replacement for a power of attorney or for appropriate commercial contracts if required. If you are legally competent and invite someone to act on your behalf, it is taken to mean that the person is allowed to do so and that you will be responsible for any actions they undertake.

For security reasons, you cannot invite someone else to act on your behalf until after you have proven your identity. This means signing in with an account where you have already completed an identity verification by providing identity documentation e.g. passport, driver's licence, etc. Likewise, the person you are inviting can only accept the invitation using an account that has completed identity verification.

  • What does "My entities” do?

Under My entities anyone can request to act on behalf of a commercial business or volunteer organisation.

Additionally, if you have been authorised to administer a business, you can send, resend or withdraw invitations to other people to act on behalf of that business, view who is currently authorised to act and either remove or extend those authorisations as you require.

This area is for people who are working for or own a business or who are involved in an organisation as part of their private life.

Please note, this function is not a replacement for appropriate commercial contracts. If you are legally competent and invite someone to act on behalf of a business, it is taken to mean that the person is allowed to do so and that the business will be responsible for any actions they undertake.

Assistance in how to use the WARAM is available from the government agency which supports the service [external link] you are trying to access.
