Requesting an extension to an authorisation

How to request an extension to an existing authorisation.

You must be authorised to transact on behalf of a person or a business. If your authorisation has an end date, then it will expire on that date.

You may submit a request to extend your authorisation before the end date. The request will be sent for approval by an appropriate party.

Requests expire after 30 days.

To request an extension to your authorisation to act on behalf of a business or person:

  • sign into the WARAM;
  • choose "My authorisations" on the "My dashboard" page;
  • You can request an extension via the Action heading.
    • An email will be sent to the appropriate party, who must then sign in and approve the request.

Step-by-step help with screenshots can be found under "WA Relationship Authorisation Manager User Guide – Requesting an extension to your authorisation".

Further assistance is available from the government agency which supports the service [external link] you are trying to access.
