The Western Australian Procurement Rule F – Agency Obligations require State agencies to maintain internal processes and procedures to support compliance with the Rules.
Section F of the Rules also requires State agencies to:
- assign responsibility for procurement to officers with skills commensurate to the value, risk and complexity of the activity
- establish and maintain a:
- delegation and authorisation register
- exemption register
- contracts register
- undertake a strategic forward procurement planning exercise annually
- be responsive to complaints
- put in place measures to ensure that contracts are managed appropriately.
In addition, for works procurements, a project bank account must be implemented.
