There’s excitement around an emerging film industry with a number of productions being shot in the region recently including ‘RAMS’ starring Sam Neil.

The Historic Whaling Station offers a one-of-a-kind experience, housing Australia’s largest marine mammal skeleton display. You may even see migrating humpback and southern right whales from the shore or encounter them whilst on a cruise.

Be in awe at the forces of nature at The Gap and Natural Bridge, and experience a bird's eye view on top of the world at the Granite Skywalk and the Valley of the Giants treetop walk.

The Albany Wind Farm is a sight to behold – be dwarfed by towering wind turbines which produce up to 80% of the town’s energy needs.

In addition to its unsurpassed natural beauty, the Great Southern is known for its wineries, breweries, distilleries, quality produce including truffles, fruit juice, cheese, chocolate, and other gourmet delights.
