Family violence can include behaviours such as physical and sexual abuse, stalking, emotional or psychological abuse, pet abuse, financial abuse, social isolation.
The behaviour does not necessarily have to be a physical assault.
Family violence
Family violence is violence or the threat of violence by a person towards a family member or any other behaviour that coerces or controls the family member or causes the family member to be fearful.
