Completion of the Introduction to Contract Negotiations is a pre-requisite for attending this face-to-face Contract Negotiations Workshop.

This workshop expands on the foundations of contract negotiations for low to medium value/risk contracts in the procurement of Goods and Services and Works.

Who is this training suitable for?

This workshop is suitable for WA Public Sector employees involved in contract management, who have completed the Introduction to Contract Negotiations online module.

You will learn

You will gain knowledge to assist in contract negotiations to support a successful procurement process including:

  • Key considerations when negotiating in the context of the WA public sector procurement
  • What can be negotiated
  • Overview of negotiations strategies
  • Where to go for more information and support

Upcoming sessions

Please note that this training is provided by the Department of Finance and funded for state public sector employees and Government Trading Enterprises. However, we encourage those in local government to submit an expression of interest. This will form a waitlist for sessions that have low enrolments, we will contact you when places become available.
