Children's Week micro-event resources

Thank you for registering your organisation’s micro-event to raise awareness of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations!

This year’s National Children’s Week theme is ‘Everyone should know about children's rights.’

The Department of Communities (Communities) is encouraging organisations to hold micro-events to celebrate children’s rights and raise awareness of the National Principles.

Micro-events provide opportunities for sustainable and ongoing ways to have conversations about the National Principles. This ongoing investment of time, without additional cost, allows organisations to commence or continue important conversations on prioritising children’s safety.

More information on micro-events is available via the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations Micro-events Guide (PDF, (303.59KB).

To support your event, please find below a number of promotional tools and a short presentation to speak to National Principles.
