Immersion workshops

A leadership development program stretching the minds and actions of Level 8 high-performers

Each participant selects 3 immersions from those below.

Option 1: The Conscious Leader and Breaking Cognitive Loops

As experienced leaders, our patterns of thinking and behaviour often become automatic. In complex and high pressure environments these ingrained responses can either strengthen strategic impact or hold us back from innovation and adaptability.

This 3 hour virtual workshop empowers leaders to recognise their dominant cognitive patterns, understand how they influence collaboration and decision making, and consciously choose more strategic responses when navigating ambiguity and change. Using psychological insights and practical tools, participants learn to override unhelpful loops, build flexibility and strengthen self leadership.

On completion of the workshop participants can:

  • identify their dominant cognitive patterns that shape leadership effectiveness
  • recognise when automatic responses serve or limit strategic goals
  • apply practical strategies to consciously override unhelpful thinking loops
  • cultivate flexibility and balance between confidence, control and adaptability
  • build sustainable self leadership habits to enhance influence and wellbeing.

Option 2: Leading in the Age of AI

Artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we work, make decisions and lead. As technology evolves, the leaders who will thrive are those who can combine human insight with digital capability – leading with clarity, compassion and self mastery while leveraging AI to enhance performance and organisational outcomes.

This 3 hour virtual workshop challenges leaders to think critically about their role in an AI-driven world. Through reflection, research insights and practical tools, participants explore how to balance human strengths – awareness, compassion and wisdom – with emerging AI opportunities. The session equips participants to lead with confidence, curiosity and ethical responsibility in a rapidly evolving landscape.

On completion of the workshop, participants can:

  • understand how AI is transforming leadership and decision making
  • identify opportunities to use AI to improve productivity and innovation
  • strengthen human centred capabilities such as compassion, adaptability and strategic awareness
  • build confidence in leading teams through technological change
  • apply practical frameworks to make balanced, ethical and future focused leadership decisions.

Option 3: The Science of Influence

Discover the powerful techniques for influencing without formal authority. In this interactive session, leaders gain practical skills to persuade, motivate and build trust with colleagues and stakeholders – regardless of corporate hierarchies. Participants also learn strategies to navigate office politics, overcome resistance to ideas, and foster alignment in their teams.

On completion of this workshop, participants can:

  • understand the differences between personal and positional power
  • explore the science and evidence based sources of influence
  • master practical techniques to influence and manage relationships up, down and across while building trust and alignment
  • know when influencing is not going to work
  • ethically exchange workplace currency to achieve desired outcomes.

Option 4: Authentic Vulnerability and High Trust Dynamics

Displaying authentic vulnerability creates an environment where teams believe they can speak up with ideas, suggestions, questions or concerns; or admit mistakes and take risks. Leaders create this psychological safety by establishing the required environment, mindsets and behaviours in their teams.

On completing this workshop, participants can:

  • lead a psychologically safe workplace
  • use methods for enabling greater openness and authenticity with their staff
  • conduct difficult conversations and reduce defensiveness
  • adopt an early intervention approach to addressing interpersonal behaviour and team dynamics.

Option 5: Performance Coaching

Performance coaching is an essential leadership skill. When done well it can transform performance, be a driver for continuous improvement, and create a culture of learning and exploration.

This 3 hour virtual workshop first explores the role leaders play as performance coaches in finding solutions not problems, asking better questions, lifting productivity and achieving results.

The second part of the workshop requires participants to put their skills to the test through a ‘live’ coaching session with an industry expert playing the role of coach. This coaching is observed, and participants are provided with verbal and written feedback on strengths and areas for development.

On completion of the workshop, participants can:

  • make informed decisions on when to coach based on their new knowledge of performance coaching
  • integrate performance coaching into their leadership style
  • use coaching tools to bring out the best in others and elevate their performance
  • implement their performance coaching development plan in the workplace.

Option 6: Visibility and Brand

Establishing a personal brand creates awareness in leaders as to who they are, what type of leader they want to be and how their values drive their actions. This session explores how personal brands are created and ways of connecting brand to leadership styles to build visibility among teams and peers.

This 4 hour virtual workshop zeros in on how to reduce visibility fears, stand out, lead authentically and effectively lead when our values driven brand is conflicted.

On completion of the workshop, participants can:

  • establish a personal brand using the 3 Vs – voice, value and visibility
  • build a unique voice that resonates with people
  • enhance their visibility in a way that supports their personal brand
  • avoid the common mistakes people make with their brand
  • network effectively to enhance personal visibility.
