High risk work assessor accreditations are valid for 3 years. Applications for renewal must be received before the expiry as there are no grace periods for late renewal. If your accreditation has expired you need you apply for a new accreditation.
If you submit your renewal application before your licence expires, you can keep working until you receive your renewal confirmation.
Courtesy renewal reminder notices are sent by email. To ensure you receive reminders, ensure your contact details are up to date.
Renewing your HRWL assessment accreditation

- Your accreditation number (shown on your licence, in renewal reminder email or search WA Licence Search).
- An acceptable photograph for your licence card (clear passport style image of head and shoulders against a white background, no hats or sunglasses).

Compliance requirements

Accredited assessors are required to notify WorkSafe before any assessment is conducted. Notifications are required to be made using an online form.

Maintenance of experience
Assessors must maintain their competency to assess each class of work they are accredited in. Accreditation will not be renewed if competency is not maintained.
