Who we are

The Public Transport Authority provides world class public transport services and solutions. We are responsible for developing and running of Australia’s best public transport network, constantly striving to ensure that our network remains one of the safest, cleanest and most efficient in the world.

About the program

Running from November 2025 to February 2026, our Student Vacation Program provides 12 week paid work experience providing tertiary students from multiple disciplines an opportunity to immerse themselves in the initiatives and culture of our organisation.

You complete meaningful work under the supervision of an experienced workplace supervisor and make an active contribution to our services for Western Australians.
