The Public Sector Commission can consider allegations involving:
- employees of:
- public sector agencies
- local governments
- public universities
- public utilities
- members of government boards and committees.
Who we do not have the authority to deal with?
The Commission cannot consider allegations involving:
- sworn police officers
- members of a House of Parliament or the Clerk of a House of Parliament
- elected members of a local government or council of a local government
- an officer employed at the Corruption and Crime Commission including the Commissioner
- the Public Sector Commissioner
- the Parliamentary Inspector of the Corruption and Crime Commission or their employees
- the holder of a judicial office.
The Corruption and Crime Commission has jurisdiction over some of the above officers.
