About us

We are the custodian of the 7 cemeteries and memorial parks across Greater Perth.

We are an organisation with heart. We provide sensitive services and places help family and friends honour the lives of loved ones and safeguard memories for future generations.

As a small organisation, we offer a unique opportunity to rotate through various work areas during your traineeship, providing you with a broad range of experiences. These areas include People and Culture, Work, Health and Safety, Finance, Information Management, Customer Services and the Executive team.

Working with us, you:

  • contribute to the wellbeing of the Perth community by ensuring that cemeteries and memorial parks are maintained with respect and care

  • develop empathy, resilience and a deeper understanding of the importance of honouring and preserving memories
  • may be invited to continue with us as a youth trainee and pursue a Certificate III in Government after you complete your traineeship.

You work from Karrakatta Cemetery located on Railway Road, Karrakatta. There is free parking and a café on site. The Karrakatta train station is directly across from the cemetery.
