About us

We’re a small organisation doing big things for people working in the construction industry. We help Western Australian construction industry employers get their responsibilities right so their workers can take a well deserved rest using portable long service leave.

What is portable long service leave? Long service leave is the type of leave workers can take after they have worked for their employer for 7 years. Normally, workers would need to work for the same employer for 7 years to receive the long service leave. However, portable long service leave means that workers can work for different employers and still be entitled to the leave.

Our work is important to these workers because they look forward to having this time off. To make sure we deliver great customer service, we need to respond to worker and employer queries quickly and provide accurate information. One of the fun parts of the job is helping people who live all over the state.
