About us

Students are at the heart of vocational education and training.

Our aim is to provide all Western Australians with training that leads to jobs and careers aligned to their aspirations.

We work with WA TAFE colleges, training providers and other organisations to create exciting job and training opportunities. These programs help people across Western Australia learn new skills and get ready for future jobs.

We also work with secondary schools across WA to give students a chance to explore different career options and start studying a nationally recognised vocational qualification while they’re still at school (like this school based traineeship that you are applying for!).
