Metropolitan Region Scheme amendment 1377/57 - Forrestfield North Environmental Conservation Areas

The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the abovementioned amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS).

The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2775 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.

By virtue of section 126(1) of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the City of Kalamunda Local Planning Scheme (LPS) is amended to give effect to the reservation(s) included in MRS Amendment 1377/57.

Pursuant to section 126(3) of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the WAPC has the option of concurrently rezoning land that is being zoned Urban under the MRS, to a “Development” zone (or similar), in the corresponding LPS. 

The WAPC agreed to the portion of the Urban zoned land (Pt Lot 2 Milner Road, High Wycombe) being concurrently rezoned from the “Special Rural” zone to the “Urban Development” zone in the City of Kalamunda LPS No. 3. This amendment to LPS No. 3 is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
