Our responsibility is to ensure individuals, businesses, industries and local governments know their rights and obligations under the laws we administer and respond when these laws are not followed. We keep people safe, make sure businesses compete fairly, protect the community, and prevent workplace accidents, fraud, or unsafe behaviour before they happen. 

Our services include WorkSafe, industry regulation and consumer protection, labour relations, building and energy regulation and support of local government, regulation of the gambling and liquor industries and corporate support services.
