Our department has a diverse workforce of more than 1,600 dynamic individuals from 75 different countries working together for a safe, fair and prosperous future for Western Australia.
Our responsibility is to ensure individuals, businesses, industries and local governments know their rights and obligations under the laws we administer and respond when these laws are not followed.
Our work will touch every Western Australian at some point in their lifetime. We keep people safe, make sure businesses compete fairly, protect the community, and prevent accidents, fraud, or unsafe behaviour before they happen.
Make a move that matters.
That is what makes our work so meaningful – it has a real and tangible impact on people’s lives. Every role in this department contributes to that impact, and everyone who joins our team will play an important part in delivering it. You can do all this while growing your skills and career path within an organisation committed to diversity and inclusion.
Maybe you want to influence the rules and regulations that protect people from harm and mistreatment, not just follow them. Maybe you want to put the law you studied into action. Or maybe you want to be the person on the other end of the phone, helping the community through times of uncertainty or crisis.
Are you ready to make a move that matters?
