RTO1a – Initial Registration

RTO1a – Initial Registration ​

If you have not accessed the Portal before, see above on how to create an account for access to the Portal. ​

​Please read the Initial Registration Application Guide for information about each section of the RTO1a - Application for Initial Registration form and to assist in completing this application.

The evidence required to support your organisation's application is outlined in the Initial Registration Application Self-Assessment Tool.

A Clip has been developed to provide step by step instructions on how to complete an RTO1a Initial Registration Application via the RTO Portal.

Available are three short clips and one webinar that assist organisations to understand the VET sector, the obligations of RTOs and the initial registration application process.

 

RTO1b – Renewal of Registration

RTO1b – Renewal of Registration

You need to complete this application if your organisation is already a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and you are applying to renew your organisation's registration. ​

Please read the Renewal of Registration Application Guide for information about each section of the RTO1b form and assistance in completing this application.

RTO 2 – Amendment to Registration ​

RTO 2 – Amendment to Registration ​

Use the RTO2 Amendment to Registration form to:

  • add Training Package qualifications, units of competency or accredited courses to scope of registration;
  • remove Training Package qualifications, units of competency or accredited courses from scope of registration;
  • replace superseded Training Package qualifications and units of competency with non-equivalent Training Package qualifications and units of competency;
  • replace a superseded/replaced accredited course with a new accredited course; and
  • change from an assessment only service to offering a training and assessment service.

RTO 3 – Notification of Third Party Agreement

RTO 3 – Notification of Third Party Agreement

It is a requirement under Clause 8.3 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 that RTOs must notify TAC of all third-party agreements. Use this form to notify TAC when entering into a new agreement or ending an existing agreement.

To request a cancellation of registration, an RTO must use this form to notify TAC. ​

Use this form to notify TAC of your intention to transfer to ASQA.
