Nominate to be a Local Government candidate

To be a candidate in a local government election, the candidate must submit a valid nomination application.

The West Australian Electoral Commission and the Department of Local Government and Communities have publications which provide detailed information for candidates who wish to nominate for a local government election.

This information is provided to all candidates in the Candidate’s Pack.
