North Metropolitan TAFE

An entry level pathway through the School Based Traineeship Program in 2025-26.

About us

With over 25,000 students, we offer over 350 courses from certificate level to advanced diplomas, apprenticeships and traineeships, including many short courses. Our nationally recognised qualifications have been developed with and endorsed by industry at a local, state and national level to meet the current and future skills need of individuals, enterprise and the community.

We give students real-world training in simulated environments so they develop the skill sets and qualifications to support a future ready workforce. We have 9 campuses in the North Metropolitan area with inner city campuses at the Perth Cultural Precinct in Northbridge, East Perth, Leederville, Mount Lawley, as well as Balga, Midland, Joondalup and Clarkson.

All of our campuses are easy to get to via public transport, and we will work with you to provide opportunities to work as close to home as possible.
