Quarterly Financial Results Report - March 2021

The general government sector recorded an operating surplus of $2.4 billion for the nine months to 31 March 2021, similar to the operating surplus reported for the same period in 2019-20.

The general government sector recorded an operating surplus of $2,945 million for the first six months of 2020-21, a $634 million increase on the $2,310 million surplus reported for the same period in 2019-20.

2020-21 Pre-election Financial Projections Statement (PFPS)

The 2020-21 PFPS was released today, in accordance with the requirements of the Government Financial Responsibility Act 2000. The PFPS contains Treasury’s latest assessment of the State’s economic and fiscal position and outlook over the period to 2023-24.
