Now in its 24th year, the Premier's Science Awards recognises and celebrates the outstanding scientific research and engagement taking place in Western Australia.
All finalists will receive a short professional video promoting their work and achievements. There are 10 categories in the 2025 Awards, with prizes ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
This year, we proudly feature 2 new categories - the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scientist of the Year and the Government Science Project of the Year, to celebrate the extraordinary impact that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and government scientists create for Western Australia.
The People's Choice Award will invite the WA community to vote for their favourite finalist. Learn more about the 2025 finalists in each category and cast your vote.
